Thanks for all your encouraging words! I have been wearing my little Bolero with pride. The women at my LYS were also complemetary. Wooo hooo! And,(with a big smile on her face) I have begun my namesake sweater, Cece. Here is one side of the front:
I am using Shine Sport - soft and smooth! I really like this yarn - must get more :-)
My dear students have been gifting me with these beauties:

Lilies
Dendrobium Orchids
Loverly blue! Loverly flowers too!
ReplyDeleteOrchids are one of my fav's.
I am conteplating a sweater with shine worsted.
Glad to hear you're loving the shine - I tried it so long ago, I think that it's time I tried it again :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to use Shine for that pattern--can't wait to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to put Shine on my list of things to try. I don't often buy yarn online because I have a need for instant gratification, but I may have to just this once.
ReplyDeleteShine really is a gorgeous yarn. So far it's showing off the stitches beautifully.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orchids and flowers. Thanks for sharing flowers. Yay! I always love to see flowers with the knitting.
